Privacy Policy

The short version: there are no accounts, no cookies, and no analytics on this site. The Generator and Converter never see your images at all. The longer version explains exactly what does and doesn't happen, tool by tool.

Generator and Converter: nothing is uploaded

Any image, icon, emoji or text you use in the Generator or Converter is rendered entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API — including resizing, recoloring, padding, and packaging the final .ico and .zip files. None of it is sent to a server. There is no upload step to intercept, no storage to breach, and nothing left behind once you close the tab.

The Generator's icon-search feature is the one exception worth naming precisely: when you search for or select an icon, your browser requests that icon's SVG directly from Iconify's public API (api.iconify.design). That search term and icon selection go to Iconify, not through our servers. We don't see it either way.

Checker: what happens when you check a URL

The Checker is the one tool that involves our server. When you submit a URL, our server fetches that page's public HTML — the same way a browser visiting the page would — reads its declared icons and web manifest, and checks whether each icon actually loads. The result is generated on the spot and returned to you. We don't save a history of URLs checked, build user profiles from them, or share them with anyone.

As with any web request, the hosting infrastructure serving this site may keep standard, short-lived technical access logs (the kind any web server produces) as a normal part of operating and securing the Service. That's infrastructure-level housekeeping, not a database of your activity, and it's not something the application itself builds or exposes.

No accounts, no cookies, no analytics

There's nothing to sign up for, so we don't hold names, emails, or passwords for visitors. The site doesn't set tracking cookies and doesn't run any analytics, advertising, or session-recording scripts. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to say so plainly, before it happens.

Children's privacy

The Service doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it doesn't collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. Any change that meaningfully affects what data is collected or how it's used will be described clearly, not buried.
